Our Process

Springs Home Improvement Co does our very best to make the process of getting a project started as straightforward and painless as possible. We want to make sure we are upfront with you from the very beginning so that you feel confident moving forward with our company. This list of steps should give you a general idea of how we will work with you if you decide to choose us for your remodeling needs!

STEP ONE: Phone Consultation

We are so excited to discuss your projects with you!  We offer a free phone consultation to get this process started. We will review your project with you, answer any questions you may have, and when possible, provide a ROUGH estimate.  This estimate will be based on the cost of labor (which is based on our best guess as to how long the project will take), and the GENERAL cost of products . We cannot anticipate the cost of every detail yet, but we will walk you through that number as we go.

If you would like to set up a phone consultation, please call or text our office at 719-357-8050 or send an email to info@springshomeimprovement.com. It really helps us to have a description of the project, pictures of the room or area that you are looking to remodel, and days/times that are convenient for the call.

STEP TWO: Home Consultation

Once we have talked over the phone and you have approved the rough estimate, we will schedule a home visit with you.  We will normally schedule this visit within a week or so after your approval.  During this site visit we will get a better idea of the scope of the project, take measurements, get your design preferences, and start making plans. This is a fun bit where you can be creative and we can help figure out what works best for you.  This step does come with a $150 fee for our site evaluation and design process.

STEP THREE: Design and Product Selection

Next, we will arrange for you to visit with a design consultant at our wholesale showroom to look at flooring, countertops, cabinets or different design options depending on what is needed.  This phase typically takes 1-3 weeks.  As we confirm the scope of work and product choices that impact the project budget we will revise the estimate.

STEP FOUR: Product Ordering and Scheduling

With your approval to order products, we will invoice you for the product cost at this time.  There may be a number of weeks before the project starts while waiting for product availability. Once the availability date is firm we will consult with you on a good start date along with the anticipated project duration.

STEP FIVE: Demo through Final Product

Depending on the size of the job you may have several people working in your house at a time, but we will always keep you informed with what is going on and where we are at with the project. Our goal is to get in and out as efficiently and cleanly as possible. We will be available to you through onsite project leaders, regular site visits, phone, email and/or text throughout the entire project.  In most projects lasting less than 3 weeks you will not receive another invoice until the work is completed and you are happy.  On larger projects lasting more than 3 weeks, there may be partial payments required.
